Drain and rinse with plenty of water our regular Palmini, except the Mashed (you can also let them in the water for a few minutes), and then mix Palmini with your recipe in the pan/saucepan.
If you want a softer texture or to reduce the natural flavor and smell of the heart of palm in your recipe, add the drained and rinsed Palmini pasta to boiling water for 15 minutes or more before adding your sauce.
